The TRAKO FOR KIDS charity fundraiser has been part of the TRAKO International Railway Fair since 2003. This year, the proceeds will benefit those supported by the Dr Clown Foundation.
TRAKO FOR KIDS is a railway-themed art competition for children and young people, for the first time also including the patients in the care of the Dr Clown Foundation. This year’s, eighth edition is entitled: My Friend on a Train Journey. The competition’s finale is an auction of the works by the talented young artists—the winners—at the TRAKO GALA evening. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Dr Clown Foundation.
Clown doctors run the Laughter Therapy programme in Polish children’s hospitals, special facilities, welfare centres, social therapy centres, children’s homes and everywhere else where there are sick, disabled children. Fun and laughter is the treatment they provide : )
