The organizers:
Oprogramowanie Naukowo-Techniczne sp. z o.o. sp. k., PESA Bydgoszcz SA

Oprogramowanie Naukowo-Techniczne with headquarters in Krakow is the only distributor of The MathWorks, Inc. in Poland.

MATLAB and Simulink products are commonly used in the railway and maritime industry. Potentates in these industries benefit from this software, eg.:
  • ABB, Deltamarin and VTT
  • Alstom
  • CSEE Transport
  • IgH (Kursk)
  • Segway
  • Versicor
  • Wartsila
Rail systems engineers need to design and implement systems for real-time control for a wide range of devices on the market. These systems include electrification systems, signaling and interlocking systems, rolling stock and locomotives.

To meet these challenges engineers use Model-Based Design. Using MATLAB and Simulink products significantly improves the quality of designed devices, reduces time-to-market and costs incurred on investments.

Systems developed in the railway industry must be in compliance with EN 50128 “Railway applications. Communication, signalling and processing systems. Software for railway control and protection systems”. MATLAB and Simulink support the certification process.

During the fair TRAKO 2015 we would like to introduce to you the possibility of using products from The MathWorks, Inc. In the course of the seminar there will be discussed tools supporting design process of control systems – from clarification of requirements, through the creation of simulation models and their testing and verification up to automatic code generation for PLC controllers (Structured Text compliant with IEC 61131-3) and embedded systems (C code, HDL code).
